The City of Bangor is accepting sealed bids for a 2012 Dodge Charger.
Minimum bid $5000.00.
Sealed bids can be dropped off at City Hall until 4:00 pm on April 17.
Bids will be opened at the City Council meeting on April 17.

*Suspects Identified* Vandalization at Lions Park

SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED

We have identified all suspects involved in vandalizing Lions Park. 
The Bangor Police Department has sent this case over the Van Buren County Prosecutors office for review.
We will keep you updated.

Between the hours of 12am and 7am on March 24th unknown individuals vandalized Lions Park.

Spring Cleanup

As a sign of respect to your neighbors and the appearance of the City, please maintain your property. If you do receive a blight notice and need a reasonable amount of time to clean up your property please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Noise Ordinance

The Bangor Police Department has been receiving several complaints of excessive dog barking in our neighborhoods. City ordinance 90.18 prohibits loud and frequently barking dogs. Please be mindful of your neighbors.

Scam Alert!

The Bangor Police Department is currently investigating a wire fraud/scam case where the people were scammed into sending money via Western Union for the transport of puppies. This is similar to the, “IRS scam” and check scam methods. This department is advising everyone to use caution when conducting business and transactions online. Please research the online companies you are dealing with and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. USE CAUTION!
